JUNIOR BROTHER WEEK END
Arriving in the wake of his phenomenal recent album The End, Junior Brother shares a predictably memorable video for 'Week End'. Extrapolating the song's inspiration, the clip directed by Ellius Grace is haunting and garish as Junior Brother explains: "This song is about living entirely in your own head, each thought an instrument plucked, beaten and shook like the cold perfection of a Swiss clock. Through dark isolation, the pieces click together to give us the undaunted face of Week End." At just over 2 minutes, a lot happens in a very short space of time as Junior Brother's face becomes increasingly obscured and coated in muck. Flashing between cuts of instrumentation, that behave like the aforementioned hands of a clock, there's something haunted and undeniably haggard about the combination. Watch and listen to 'Week End' and the rest of The End now. -Holly Mullineaux
